en(gender)ed podcast
Our weekly podcast shares stories that explore the systems, practices, and policies that enable gender-based violence and oppression and the solutions to end it. Through our episodes and social media content curation, we hope to build a cultural literacy around abuse and abuse of power–in all of its manifestations–whether it shows up at the workplace, in our politics, or in our homes. En(gender)ed uses gender as a lens to examine power, privilege, and oppression, so as to better identify it, confront it, prevent it, and ultimately, to heal from it. We teach feminism and decolonize hearts and minds, one story at a time.
Recent themes from 2019 included healing from abuse, systemic responses to trauma in domestic violence, body literacy, the criminal justice system, gender and international feminism, women and technology, child sexual abuse, the weaponization of motherhood, feminist practices in business, and culture in gender roles.
In 2020, the podcast explores themes of patriarchy and masculinity, beauty and lifestyle, democracy, and much more.
